Bud Light Hi Fi Concert Series
The Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series hosted by Aspen/Snowmass debuts on opening weekend in November and continues through March with a series of five free, outdoor concerts held during key events and peak weekends throughout the season. Past performers include Blind Melon, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Donovan Frankenreiter, Ghostland Observatory, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Galactic, Pennywise, Blues Traveler, North Mississippi Allstars, De La Soul and more.
NovemberAspen Winternational FIS Women's World Cup Races November 28 - 29
Spectators near and far are invited to the base of Lift 1A on Aspen Mountain to enjoy prime viewing of the finish line from the grandstands. Television coverage by NBC and Versus will capture the excitement that embodies World Cup racing.

ESPN Winter X Games January 28 -31
The annual Winter X Games is the premier winter action sports event in the world, featuring athletes from across the globe competing for medals and prize money in the sports of Ski, Snowboard and Snowmobile. Winter X Games will feature nighttime events and will be telecast live on ESPN and ABC.
Bud Light Big Air Fridays TBD
This popular eight-week series is a mainstay and weekly favorite for the best snowboarders and skiers in the state of Colorado. Each week they gather to perform the latest tricks for a chance at a weekly prize purse and series points on the busy Fanny Hill/Snowmass Mall intersection.
The Owl Creek Chase February 14
The Owl Creek Chase has been one of Colorado's largest and most premier cross-country ski races since 1985. The challenging course from Snowmass Village to Aspen presents the very best that Colorado skiing has to offer; tough climbs, scenic views, thrilling descents and excellent snow conditions.
Aspen Laff Festival February 18 - 20
After countless years as the featured site for the HBO/U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, and three years as the co-producer and home of the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, the Wheeler stepped up in 2011 to present its own unique four-day comedy experience, where comics got to do what comics do best: Everything funny. The 2015 event is being planned right now, so mark your calendar. Come ski all day and laugh all night as we present the most brilliant new voices in comedy in a variety of stand-up and improv events at the Wheeler.
Aspen/Snowmass Ski & Snowboard Open February 18
The Aspen/Snowmass Ski & Snowboard Open at Buttermilk, is one of the best open competitions in the nation! Giving the opportunity to get noticed for up-and-coming winter athletes, it attracts over 350 athletes to compete on the famed X Games slopestyle and superpipe courses.
Audi Power of Four Mountain Battle February 28
This legendary race is celebrated through the Aspen Valley. With 3 divisions for competitive ski, competitive snowboard and overall non-competitive, each team must finish the course (designed by Chris Davenport and Travis McClain) within the 4 hour time frame. This is open to any skier or snowboarder who enjoys riding Aspen Highlands.
Colorado Junior Freeride Competion Presented by GoPro March 5 - 6
Freeriders aged 10 -18 will compete in the Aspen Valley after winning their regional competitions. Checkout the future of freeriding
Bud Light Spring Jam March 12 - 28
Aspen's premier spring festival in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, with new-school competitions, downtown concerts and parties. Downtown Aspen's CORE Block Party kicks off the Jam on March 13 and is free and open to the public. Also includes Chris Klug's Spring Snowboard Camp, KickAspen Big Air, Bud Light Hi-Fi Concerts, and Terrain Park Boot Camp.
Helly Hanson Battle in the Bowls March 15
This legendary race is celebrated through the Aspen Valley. With 3 divisions for competitive ski, competitive snowboard and overall non-competitive, each team must finish the course (designed by Chris Davenport and Travis McClain) within the 4 hour time frame. The cost is $75/Team and each registrant receives a Helly Hansen Baselayer that includes the event logo! This is open to any skier or snowboarder who enjoys riding Aspen Highlands.
KickAspen Big Air Invitational March 18
In the Annual KickAspen Big Air Invitational, the best regional ski and snowboard athletes will compete under the lights at the base of Aspen Mountain. Prize giveaways and $2 Bud Lights in the Bud Light Beer Garden will round out the action at the base of the mountain.
Terrain Park Boot Camp March 19-27
The Terrain Park Book Camp is an entry level terrain park that will be set up at Snowmass. Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club coaches and athletes will teach beginners (13 and up) how to safely slide a rail, hit a box and throw a trick. From children to parents,
Elk Mountain Grand Traverse March 24 - 26
Nearly 200 racers will being their journey tackling the 40-mile course that starts at 9,000 feet in Crested Butte, takes skiers through Mt. Crested Butte Ski Resort. The race is scheduled to start at midnight on Friday which allows entrantsto reach Star Pass (12,303 ft) before the warmth of the day increases the likelihood of avalanches. The remote route continues through the Elk Mountains and over one more mountain pass before finishing at the base of the Aspen Mountain.

Recognized as one of the world's "50 Leading Film Festivals" by IndieWIRE, Aspen Shortsfest is one of the world's premier international short film and video showcases for the trend-setting art form: the short. This Oscar-qualifying international competition offers a lively, thought-provoking, and humorous selection of drama, comedy, animation and documentary - all at 40 minutes or less.
Annual Schnee Tag April 10
Schneetag (pronounced Sch-knee Tog) is the German word for "snow day." Put simply, it translates as "daredevils willing to propel themselves down a hill, over a jump and across a pond on a craft they built themselves." This hilarious event is one not to miss. The Annual Schneetag invites teams of four to create a craft that they will pilot down a slope in front of Bonnie's and attempt to float across a 30x20 foot pond. Every team has a theme and will perform a skit before they descend. This event is just as ridiculous and entertaining as it sounds.
