Snowmass Free Concert Series (June 16-August 27, 2022)
A Snowmass summer tradition 30 years in the making, the Snowmass Free Concert Series is a must-do music event. Every Thursday evening, locals and visitors alike gather on Fanny Hill to enjoy some of the country’s best live bands in a relaxed atmosphere with a spectacular mountain backdrop.

Snowmass Rodeo (June 22-August 17, 2022)
Celebrating its 48th year of Western tradition in 2022, the Snowmass Rodeo is one of the longest running rodeos in Colorado. This event is an Aspen Snowmass summer staple, complete with music, cowboys and cowgirls, horses, livestock, and family fun.

Aspen Saturday Market (June - October)
Join visitors and locals on Saturdays at the Farmers Market in downtown Aspen. Buy some local Colorado produce, crafts or grab some lunch from the food vendors. This is a great way to enjoy a leisurely Saturday in Aspen.

Aspen Music Festival and School (June 30-August 21, 2022)
Classical Music in our Rocky Mountain setting is like no other. Whether you are a classical music aficionado or a novice, this Festival will keep you coming back for more.

FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen (June 17-19, 2022)
Each year, the world’s most accomplished winemakers, celebrity chefs and culinary luminaries come together in one breathtaking setting at the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen. This premier culinary event consists of three incredible days of cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and panel discussions led by world-class chefs and wine experts.

JAS Aspen Snowmass (June 23-26, 2022)
This iconic music event brings the hottest new musicians and some classic favorites to downtown Aspen, Colorado.

The Aspen Ideas Festival (June 25-July 1, 2022)
For over 60 years, the Aspen Institute has been the nation's premier gathering place for leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to engage in deep and inquisitive discussion of the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times.


Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration (July 4, 2022)
Aspen celebrates Independence Day with a whimsical twist. Each year, approximately 20,000 local residents and visitors come together to honor the nation's birthday in true American style. Festivities include parade from 11 am – 12 pm, a Community Village from 10 am – 2 pm, Boogie’s Run, Kids’ Parade Bike Decorating, Laser Lightshow and more!

Audi Power of Four Trail Run (July 9, 2022)
The Audi Power of Four Race Series is a premier endurance race series utilizing the unique and amazing terrain of each of the four Aspen Snowmass mountains. Each race is designed to test the limits and skills of both elite and recreational athletes. 

Aspen Arts Festival (July 16 + 17, 2022)
Aspen Chamber Resort Association is proud to join Howard Alan Events in hosting the 19th Annual Aspen Arts Festival. The Aspen Arts Festival provides an exclusive opportunity to experience a range of phenomenal creations by national and local artists, ranging from life-size sculptures, photography, glass, paintings, ceramics, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and mixed media. 

Aspen Backcountry Marathon (July 30, 2022)
Utilizing the beautiful trails that surround Aspen, offering two options, a full or heavy half-marathon, both run almost exclusively on dirt trails. The diversity of terrain, challenging ascents & descents and overall elevation gain will challenge even the most well-trained athletes. With spectacular views of the Elk Mountains above and the city of Aspen below, this is one race you’ll be sure to remember!


Audi Snowmass 50 Mountain Bike Race (August 6, 2022)
This race will showcase the best singletrack in Snowmass with a 25 mile loop ascending 5000’ feet. The Audi Snowmass 50 replaces the event previously known as the Power of Four MTB.


JAS Aspen Snowmass (September 2-4, 2022)
This favorite Labor Day music event brings the hottest new musicians to Snowmass Village, Colorado for an unforgettable weekend of music in the mountains.

Snowmass Balloon Festival (September 16-18, 2022)
The iconic Snowmass Balloon Festival returns to Snowmass Village for its 47th year, September 16-18, 2022. The event will include three days of morning balloon launches, and a Friday evening Balloon Night Glow.

Golden Leaf Half Marathon (September 17, 2022)
The Golden Leaf is one of the most beautiful foot races in the Rockies. In the height of the picturesque fall colors of Colorado, the Aspen Trees will guide runners on this challenging course. The course traverses from Snowmass Village to Aspen on mountain trails and roads with fabulous mountain views. The trail can be narrow and steep at times with elevation gains of 970 feet peaking at 9,400 feet in elevation.

Snowmass Wine Festival (September 16 + 17, 2022)
Set amongst the breathtaking scenery of Snowmass Village, the Snowmass Wine Festival features a four-course wine dinner on Friday night and a Grand Tasting event on Saturday afternoon offering a wide array of the world’s top wines as well as cuisine from the Valley’s favorite restaurants. Enjoy live music and take part in the Silent Auction filled with tempting items from local shops and restaurants, acclaimed wines and fine artwork. Funds raised are allocated to non-profit organizations across the Roaring Fork Valley, charitable organizations worldwide, and for High School Senior scholarships.


The Aspen Chamber Resort Association is always working to create and attract special events that draw local, regional and destination visitors to Aspen. The ACRA is proud to produce five local events throughout the year that delight locals and visitors alike.
